Job Description:

Training Alliance Group (TAG) provides quality training across a variety of sectors delivered through three registered training organisations; Stirling Skills Training; MTACS Group; and Australian Business and Vocational Training (ABV). Working with organisations and their employees, and individuals we provide on the job and off-site training in resources, business, safety, manufacturing, warehouse, transport and logistics and human resources.

About the role:
TAG is adding a new course and is seeking a casual trainer with vocational experience and currency to deliver training and assessment in practical driving (heavy vehicles).

Training/assessment includes both theory and practical activities. Travel may be required to deliver training at other locations.

Job Requirements:

Skills & experience:
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110) including the unit TAELLN401A/TAELLN411 or higher is required
  • Heavy Rigid (HR) license as a minimum is required
  • Registered and approved by the Department of Transport as a trainer is required
  • Registered and approved by the Department of Transport as an assessor is highly regarded
  • Relevant and current vocational industry experience is required
  • MC and HC licenses are highly regarded
  • Experience delivering relevant and engaging training in a variety of workplaces and also in classroom to a diverse range of students 
  • Ability to successfully provide a National Police clearance
  • Ability to successfully provide a Traffic Infringement record
